Guy; Example Paper
I will have a new page added to amipow.com soon, but not real soon. The page is going to be about the man that poses for the bathroom signs, who slips on wet floors, who gets his fingers cut off by lawnmowers, and ends up in a wheelchair. I want to make a book about him one day, and this is my start.

I've had a great day today! Well, the last half of it at least. Today in English 102 I had to read my annotation on the last part of the book we just read. Before I sat back down he asked me to read the first sentence again. I was kind of worried, because if there is a problem he'll usually point it out. But today he said, "Excellent! That is what a topic sentence is supposed to be like. Read it one more time for the class." That made me happy. Then he handed back our papers that we turned in last Friday. I was the second to last person to get mine back, and I was getting really nervous. When I unfolded the paper it said A! (Which is a great improvement from my last paper where I got a C.) After class I asked him what he had written on the top (he has really sloppy writing) and it said, "This paper is an excellent example..." He asked me if he could photocopy the paper to use as an example for next semester! I was thrilled.
