My journals are now completely imported into the new system, provided free by b2. b2 is the precursor to the popular WordPress. The developer of b2 abandoned the project when he was offered a position with WordPress. Fortunately, b2 is much easier to customize than WordPress, plus, my server already had b2 installed on it. All I had to do was activate it and edit it. Plus, I can add cool smilies like this
. I can also update my journal from any computer; I no longer need to go through Dreamweaver (even though it’s a great program).

While I was copying and pasting my old journals into the new one, I was able to read about the past two years of my life. Most of it was boring, but there were some things that I had forgotten about. It was nice to look back, but now I need to concentrate on the future (and the two tests I have today).

Matthew got engaged this weekend. He had called all of us and asked for our blessing and prayers. I got to speak with my future sister-in-law, Candice, after he proposed. She was so ecstatic and nervous when he asked her, that she gave him the wrong hand. Not realizing this, Matt put the ring on her right hand. They had a hard time getting it off the finger, but once they did, he proposed again. Congratulations Matthew and Candice!

I have some great news from the police department, but this journal entry is long enough already. I’ll update either later today or tomorrow about the police department.
