Killing for Jesus

Now that I can put songs directly in my posts for everyone to listen to, I’ll probably be doing it more often. As I’ve said in so many other posts, music is such an integral part of my life. Today’s song is Killing for Jesus by Angie Aparo. The style of this song is very unlike his other songs, but it’s very much something that he would write. The song is reminiscent of anti-Vietnam War songs. Click his image below to purchase his songs; click the play button to listen to the song. Killing for Jesus, dying for Mohammed
Taking it to the streets and it’s wrong and
I don’t believe that’s what they ever wanted
Killing for Jesus, dying for Mohammed

Why can’t we get together
Try to love each other, better
Come on, come on, come on

I don’t know why all kinds of people
Can’t be alright with all kinds of steeples
I don’t believe that’s what they ever wanted
Killing for Jesus, dying for Mohammed

Why can’t we get together
Try to love each other, better
Come on, come on, come on

Oh, all the way from the east to the west
Can we work it on out, can we clean up this mess
Oh, you know it could be wonderful
Can we meet up in the middle down in Istanbul

Killing for Jesus, dying for Mohammed
Taking it to the streets and it’s wrong and
I don’t believe that’s what they ever wanted
Killing for Jesus, dying for Mohammed

Why can’t we just remember
We’re all in this together
I wonder if we’ll ever
Try to love each other, better

Come on come on come on
