Sungha Jung
Sungha Jung is a YouTube hit that I learned about this past weekend while in Hiawassee for Father's Day. He's apparently an 11 year old boy living in South Korea who picked up his first guitar two years ago.

A Few Quotes / Links Page
"We don't see things as they are, we see things as we are."
- Anais Nin
"A man can no more diminish God's glory by refusing to worship Him than a lunatic can put out the sun by scribbling the word, 'darkness' on the walls of his cell."
- C.S. Lewis
Michelle and I went out for dinner Saturday night, and then stopped by The Daily Grind for some coffee and tea afterwards. When we walked in there was a musician, Matt Thien, singing and playing his guitar. I purchased a CD on the way out, and when I got home I went to add his website to my Links page. That's when I realized that I never started or completed the page.
So the Links page is now complete. If you read my journal and your website is not on my links page, send me an email and I'll add it.

Angels of Ecstasy
Way back when, in 1999, Matthew had a CD called Angles of Ecstasy. Before I left for a summer long tour with the Scenic City Drum and Bugle Corps, I recorded the CD to a cassette tape so I could listen to it on the long bus rides between shows. The CD is all sacred choral music from Beethoven to Verdi to Samuel Barber. I've included one of the songs from the CD: Miserere Mei Dues composed by Gregorio Allegri. Turn up the volume, close your eyes, and enjoy the next 8 minutes and 23 seconds of your life.
